Winter-Spell Shortbread Gift Bundle

For winter afternoons, familiar recipes, and the little magic that begins with butter and flour.

As the evenings lengthen, the Tangled Streets change their rhythm. Lanterns shine beneath the market awnings; bundles of evergreen appear beside baskets of spices; and the bakers begin setting their most beautiful wares in the windows. There are as many traditions here as there are roads between worlds, but warm shortbread seems to make friends wherever it goes.

Some travelers choose a snowflake for the turning of the season. Others prefer a woodland pattern or the cheerful promise of afternoon tea. The best part is that the pan comes back out again, long after the winter decorations have been put away.

The Winter-Spell Shortbread Gift Bundle pairs one handcrafted Emerson Creek Brown Bag Designs shortbread pan, in the pattern you choose, with two Dr. Pete's shortbread mixes: Classic and Lavender. It's a thoughtful gift for a seasoned baker, a new household, or anyone who enjoys making something beautiful to share.

Choose Your Shortbread Pan

Snowflake — Delicate winter motifs for frosted mornings and candlelit baking.

Yuletide — A festive, old-world pattern suited to gatherings and treasured seasonal recipes.

Norwegian Woods — Woodland-inspired detail for a baker who prefers the quiet beauty of the forest.

Tea Time — A charming design for afternoon tea, visiting friends, and traditions that belong to every season.

Each pan is made to impress an ornamental pattern into traditional shortbread dough, creating an elegant bake without elaborate decorating.

Two Shortbread Mixes to Begin

Dr. Pete's Classic Shortbread Mix — A traditional, buttery shortbread to enjoy with tea or share from a pretty plate.

Dr. Pete's Lavender Shortbread Mix — A gently floral interpretation for something a little different.

Follow the mix and pan instructions and supply any additional ingredients called for on the packaging.
