The Bramble & Basket stall always smells faintly of lavender biscuits and woodsmoke, and today the velvet-lined shelves are crowded with tiny gnomes in hand-stitched coats. One winks as you pass. Another tips its head toward a child cradling it with quiet reverence.

These are the Whimsyfolk of Wonderheart, brought in by the caravan that wanders between worlds. They're carved from storywood—gentle, knot-smoothed grain that hums with quiet warmth—and dressed in felted wool with cotton ties and twinkling bead buttons. Every one is a little different. Every one is waiting for someone.

Palus bought the moss-green one for a very special little girl.

Nellandra collects them in a row on her mantle, hoping someday she can give them to a special little boy.

And rumor has it Amaranth lingered longer than usual near the chestnut brown one, fingertips brushing its hood before she slipped away with something else entirely.
