Wax Wildlife Beeswax Candles

There’s a quiet delight in setting one of these beeswax creatures to burn—a raven keeping watch by the window, an owl flickering as if caught mid-blink, a turtle slow and steady while supper simmers. Rosie has a fondness for the bird candles, claiming they keep the kitchen company when she’s up before dawn. Allen once gifted Francis the snail, calling it “your pace exactly,” and nearly lost an ear for it.

Each one is hand-poured by Pine Barrens Post, a homestead and apiary in the New Jersey wilds, where bees and keepers together make small wonders.
