The Wayfarer’s Refillable Trail Journal is a petite handmade journal for travelers, walkers, hikers, wanderers, scrapbookers, and keepers of small collected things. Sized to tuck easily into a purse, bag, satchel, or trail pack, each journal includes writing pages and interior pockets for saving little pieces of the road: tickets, petals, notes, sketches, wrappers, maps, feathers, and found-paper fragments.

Choose between two hand-foiled cover styles: Floral or Trees. Each cover is decorated by an in-house artist at A House of Books, so no two journals are exactly alike. Covers are selected from neutral tones such as black, brown, and gray, with individual foil designs varying from journal to journal.

Because these journals are handmade and artist-finished, exact cover color and foil placement are not guaranteed. If you have a strong preference for a darker or lighter neutral cover, please email us before ordering and we’ll do our best to check current availability.

These journals come from A House of Books, a woman-owned, handmade, eco-friendly bookish shop based in Grandville, Michigan. Their work is rooted in a love of books and a commitment to salvaging every usable part of books that can no longer be saved as readable copies.
