Jin would insist a daily pen is not a luxury.
It is the difference between a clean ledger and a ruined one. Between a note that survives the day and a thought lost because the nearest pen was cheap, dry, or mysteriously stolen by someone who definitely did not return it.
Palus would understand immediately. A household, a business, a caravan, a guild, a family—anything worth keeping in order requires lists, names, labels, letters, reminders, corrections, and the occasional sentence written with enough force to make the paper reconsider its choices.
The Ledger-Keeper’s Daily Writer Pen is a handcrafted thin-grip wood pen designed for everyday use: journaling, letters, lists, records, notes, bookplates, planners, handwriting practice, and the small written tasks that quietly keep life from collapsing into chaos.
Each pen is hand-turned from natural wood, finished with a high-gloss surface, and fitted with gunmetal accents for a clean, practical, handsome look. The pen opens for inkwell replacement and comes with a standard black ink insert. Because each wood is natural, color, grain, and pattern will vary slightly from pen to pen.
These pens are made by Ortmann Woodcraft, a family-owned woodworking business based in Patton, Missouri. Founded by Jon and Debbie Ortmann in 2013, Ortmann Woodcraft grew from cabinet-shop apprenticeship, craft shows, juried markets, and a commitment to handmade production. Their work was selected for handmade pens and letter openers for the 2017 inauguration, and they continue to bring careful detail to every piece they make.
For the list-maker. The letter-writer. The quartermaster. The archivist. The person who knows that ordinary writing deserves a proper tool.
