There’s no such thing as quiet with Bethany around, but there is joy, and it usually involves a dolphin voice and someone yelling “YOU’RE THE OCTOPUS THIS TIME!”

These ocean friends have become staples of her storytelling: sea creatures leaping across couches, hiding in blankets, diving off the edge of the bath tub (and occasionally into it).

Each puppet is hand-felted in Nepal by women artisans using traditional techniques, soft wool, and boundless care. Whether it's Palus trying to teach “marine order” or Ysir giving dramatic underwater soliloquies with the sting ray, these puppets bring out the performer in everyone.
