Soltas would call it sensible.
Palus would call it unnecessary until someone handed him a lunch that had not been crushed, spilled, or wrapped in something disposable. Ysir would understand the quieter part of it: a useful thing, honestly made, meant to help someone carry what they need through the day.
The Workday Waxed Canvas Lunch Bag is a reusable waxed canvas lunch sack inspired by the classic paper lunch bag, rebuilt in a sturdier, longer-lasting form. It has the familiar shape of a simple folded lunch sack, but with the durability and structure of waxed canvas, making it better suited for workdays, school lunches, field lunches, road meals, shop breaks, picnics, and everyday carry.
French seams are used throughout, with no serged edges, giving the bag a cleaner finish and stronger construction. It is simple, practical, and handsome enough to feel intentional without becoming precious.
This lunch bag comes from Newton Supply Co., a woman-owned brand based in Austin, Texas. Newton Supply Co. describes its work as chic, rugged, and honest ā bags that do more than carry, because they also tell a story. Each piece is handcrafted in Austin by refugee artisans in partnership with The Refugee Collective. Every purchase supports fair wages, sustainability, craftsmanship, and community.
Choose from four grounded waxed canvas colors: Slate, Stone, Olive, or Marine.
For packed lunches, long days, practical routines, and the small dignity of carrying something well-made.
